Living with a physical or learning disability should not mean giving up independence or control over your own life. Eastdale Healthcare provides person-centred disability support across Kettering and Northamptonshire — working alongside you to achieve your goals, maintain your independence, and live life the way you choose.
We start by listening. Our care assessments focus on what matters to you — not just what tasks you need help with, but what you want to achieve, what independence means to you, and how we can best support that. Support plans are built around the individual, not a standard template, and they are reviewed regularly as your needs and goals evolve.
For those with physical disabilities, our carers can assist with personal care, mobility and transfers, manual handling, use of specialist equipment, medication management, meal preparation, and getting out into the community. We work within safe handling guidelines and coordinate with occupational therapists and other healthcare professionals where appropriate.
Our carers are trained to work with adults with learning disabilities, supporting daily living skills, social activities, and community participation. We work patiently and positively, using clear communication and building consistent routines that create a sense of security. Our goal is always to maximise independence — doing things with you, not for you.
